“ The staff was very polite and constantly checked on us to make sure everything was good. There's a big selection of sushi, raw and cooked. I had the Monster Roll, and it was delicious. There's also food for children. We didn't order the All You Can Eat sushi, but I plan on going back to try that for dinner sometime. ”
“ This place absolutely delivered. From the moment we sat down, we were met with friendly service and a vibe that struck the perfect balance between cozy and modern. The sushi? Top tier. Every roll was fresh, beautifully plated, and packed with flavor. We ordered a little bit of everything—nigiri, specialty rolls, bento box, and even crispy soft-shell crab appetizers—and not a single bite disappointed. The presentation was clean and thoughtful (special shout-out to the salmon nigiri with microgreens—chef’s kiss). Whether you’re rolling deep with family like we were or just vibing with a couple friends, Sushi Bang Bang is 100% worth it. ”
“ Fantastic place for lunch! The specials are the best I've seen in the area, generous portions and some interesting rolls. Presentation is also top notch. I got a couple of the lunch special rolls, my boyfriend got the hibachi chicken. Miso soup was good and a big bowl. They give a lot of veggies with the hibachi as well, which was nice. Definitely would be back, even maybe for the AYCE sushi in the evening. ”
“ We made a reservation ahead of time which was swift using Google. We were seated right away and the service was really fast. We chose the all you can eat option and it was good. We liked their rolls more than sashimi. Note: if you're ordering handrolls, make suret To specify it in the order slip. We forgot to do so, and ended up being served the maki rolls instead. ”
“ This is my 3rd time coming back and everytime I always come out stuffed and happy. Their portion is amazing (we usually get nigiris and hand rolls, no special rolls be because of the volume). The salmon nigiris and sashimis, bluefine toro (weekly specials) nigiris are absolutely delicious! I also love their miso soups and all the other appetizers too. Fish quality is also very good, and thick cuts. For the price of 37 weekend lunch, I honestly think this is really good given how expensive everything is now. Also the decor inside is so nice ”
“ Sushi Bang Bang is a great spot for casual sushi with a fun twist. The all-you-can-eat option is a solid deal, especially if you come hungry—they have a wide variety of rolls, appetizers, and even desserts included. Everything came out fresh and well-prepared, and the staff was attentive without rushing us. The Bang Bang roll and spicy tuna crispy rice were standouts. Portions are generous, and the vibe is upbeat but not too loud—perfect for a casual dinner with friends. Definitely one of the better AYCE sushi experiences in Austin! ”
“ I had a great time dining here — the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I especially enjoyed the sashimi selection — each piece was delicate and high quality, though I do wish they weren’t limited to just three pieces per kind. The nigiri flight was also a standout, with a good variety and clean flavors. Their special rolls were vibrant and satisfying — the one with the yellow sauce was packed with flavor and visually appealing. I also tried one of their crispy meat dishes, which turned out to be a nice surprise — crunchy on the outside and juicy inside, great as a hot appetizer. Overall, I really enjoyed the variety, the quality of the fish, and the fun presentation. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving a satisfying sushi experience. ”
“ Great service! Parking is plentiful! Sashimi options are available for AYCE. For the pricing, it’s so worth it! There’s a good variety of cooked and sushi items for the AYCE menu. Their green te ice cream is nice and dense, not too sweet! I love that their sashimi options come on a thin slice of cucumber! Heads up their rolls are very generous with filling and thick. I would come back again! ”
